Remarkable for their great lightness and softness, the stoles in Pashmina have been hand woven with the utmost care, on traditional looms.
The family workshop of our Artisans is of human scale and is located in Srinagar, capital of the state of Kashmir, India.
The fiber of Pashmina used to make our stoles are harvested exclusively by hand, using combs, by the nomadic Changpa shepherds and come from pure pedigree goats, endemic to the arid plateau of Ladakh (Himalayan chain), the Changthangi goats.
A noble variety of cashmere known for its extreme fineness and unparalleled softness, Pashmina is rare and belongs to the select club of 'ultra-fine' natural fibres.
Suitable for the most sensitive skins, it does not sting, acts as a moisture barrier and provides gentle, constant and never stifling warmth".
Every Pashmina is delivered in an elegant case graciously offered, accompanied by a certificate, a fabric travel pouch, a sachet of lavender from Provence from Organic Farming of "Super Blue" quality as well as an anti-pest protective pouch.
